Build A Supportive Network for Career Growth

Building a network is essential for career growth - no matter what discipline your work is in.

Networks allow you to make connections, learn new things, and discover possible job opportunities that you wouldn’t otherwise have.

But how do you start, especially if you're an entrepreneur or a business owner in a niche area?

Search those socials! There will always be people on social media who are doing your job. Connect with them.

Make connections genuine. Don’t use the same cookie-cutter answers to everyone, or use the same default introductory email. Be authentic.

Put yourself out there. Connections don’t happen passively. Email people. DM them. Comment on posts. The worst thing that could happen, is they never respond.
