Diversity Awareness Month

I recently found out that August is diversity awareness month, and as the month comes to a close I wanted to acknowledge the importance of diversity and the role it has in my life.

As the proud owner of my own business and a woman of color, it is the global appreciation of diversity and the steps of other diverse figures before me that have paved this path.

I have a team of beautiful diverse individuals behind me - from members of the queer community to women, to disabled individuals, to those from international backgrounds, my team is an absolute melting pot. It makes me strong, helps me appreciate different perspectives, and encourages growth each day.

Diversity is beautiful. And I am endlessly grateful for it.
