All too often, I see people stay in toxic relationships for fear that leaving the relationship is a sign of failure.
We are so often told to not “rock the boat” or to keep our mouths shut, for fear of making waves. But I’ve often noticed that the people being told these things were never making waves in the first place.
Leaving a toxic relationship is not a failure. It’s a success of the greatest kind.
When you leave relationships that don’t serve you, you’re honoring yourself. Acknowledging that you deserve to be treated better.
Knowing your worth is never a failure.
And though it can be hard to sever ties with people, even when you know they aren’t healthy, I promise you it will always be worth it to put yourself first.
