Investing in Your Personal Growth is an Investment in your Career

I’ve been working with a few new colleagues this week, and I had an incredibly insightful conversation with them.

I’ve been nervous about investing in some self-care and personal growth-related things lately - and one of my colleagues said “Unnatti, an investment in your personal growth is an investment in your career”. And that felt like getting smacked between the eyes - because it’s the truth!

Investing in your personal growth IS an investment in your career. It’s an investment in yourself. And it’s a recognition of the fact that you deserve to grow.

One of my other colleagues always says “Flowers grow where they are watered”. I think it’s time I water myself!
