My voice is my power!
I will never be silenced!
I am a certified coach. It is something I’ve been passionately pursuing for more than a decade; but I often feel that people don’t understand coaching or its impact.
To put it simply, a coach is someone who enables you to challenge your self limiting beliefs through making observations.. We are not therapists; therapists often focus on emotional healing and mental health, while coaches focus on goal setting and achievement. While sports coaches help athletes help people stay on their physical movement and journey, I as a coach enable people to become the best version of themselves!
Many people believe that life coaches are charlatans, or that there’s no evidence behind the practice. But that’s far from the truth! COACHING IS NOT ADVISING!!
Multiple studies have shown that life coaching can improve both self-efficacy and self-empowerment, increasing positive life outcomes like achievement and professional development.
So who is coaching for? Anyone and everyone!
I work with parents and teenagers to improve relationships and communication. I work with 1-2-1 to create specific goals and modify belief patterns. I even work with groups where many people are working toward a similar goal, and we create a supportive environment to help people get there!
That’s one of the many beautiful things about coaching -it allows me to work with all kinds. I’ve never had a client I didn’t learn from.
Allow me to paint a quick picture: one of my past clients:
Carter, was a sophomore in college feeling very lost academically. He had many passions, and a general idea of what he wanted his life to look like, but no idea how to get there, or where to even start. Carter and I spent many sessions working together, fleshing out an academic and professional path that would allow him to achieve the life he wanted while doing what he loved. I was his biggest cheerleader, encouraging him when he reached milestones, and helping him modify his plan along the way. Carter recently graduated college and is working at an engineering firm, and he loves it. Though we no longer work together, we stay in touch and I love hearing updates from him.
If you find yourself relating to Carter or think you would benefit from the encouragement and support I’ve described above, please reach out and schedule a free consultation with me. I’m ready to be your coach and cheerleader - are you ready to be the best player you can be?
